A Message from Chief Bruce Archibald
Dear Taykwa Tagamou Nation Members,
We often times get so busy in our daily lives that we don’t take enough time to look back and reflect on just how far we’ve come each day. Yet, every quarter, we’re given that opportunity through these community newsletters, as they provide us all with much needed reflection time. The chance to look back on what we’ve accomplished, as well as the special moments we’ve enjoyed together as a community.
I couldn’t be any more grateful to see how much we shine together, because it wasn’t that long ago that our community was not this prosperous. But, look at us now. Our employment rates often times beat the Canadian national average, we have strong relationships with proponents in our Traditional Territory, and our economic development ventures give us a true seat at the decision making table…
