CreeFest 2024 took place in Cochrane at the Tim Hortons Event Centre from July 23-25.
The event featured live music and entertainment, traditional foods, workshops and demonstrations, 50+ vendors and booths, and elder, youth and children’s activities.
Musical performances included the band Nazareth and 2024 Canada’s Got Talent winner, Rebecca Strong, as well as Adrian Sutherland, Lawrence Martin, Vern Cheechoo, Spence Band, Relic Kings and CreeFest’s Got Talent. There were also fiddlers and dancers as well as traditional pow-wows.
