A Message from Chief Bruce Archibald
Wacheay Taykwa Tagamou Nation Members,
As we begin to prepare for the holidays and a new year with our loved ones, we begin to reflect on the year we’ve had, and where we’re headed as individuals, as families, and as a community. For myself, I am proud of the hard work and dedication I’ve seen that has allowed our community’s vision to come to fruition. Reflection has proven to be a great reminder of how much we’ve accomplished, as well as what continues to unite us in our vision as we build a prosperous future for our people – together.
We continue to strengthen our relationships at the municipal, provincial, and federal government levels, as well as with proponents working in our area. We’re receiving an abundance of recognition throughout our Territory, the province and the country for our leadership role we have taken within our economic development ventures. These ventures allow us the flexibility to ensure we have continuous protections on our lands and resources, so we can continue our cultural practices that we have since time immemorial. They also allow us to continue to expand our ever growing service offerings to you, our members, which in turn continues to empower us as a healthy Nation – from the inside out…
